An Australian guitarist, developing a reputation as an exciting talent amongst the next generation of classical guitarists. Brett graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Distinction in Guitar Performance. During this time, he received classes from some of the world’s leading guitarists. In 2019, he was given the opportunity to further his studies with Marco Tamayo at the prestigious Universität Mozarteum in Austria.

Brett has performed as a soloist across Australia and Europe. As a founding member of the Codex Quartet, one of Australia’s leading quartets, He has given performances at several prestigious events, including The Melbourne International Guitar Festival. Having a great passion for Flamenco music, Brett studied Flamenco guitar under Paco Serrano in Cordoba, Spain, where he also spent a considerable amount of time performing as a soloist and an accompanist. As a teacher, he has had students who regularly achieve excellent results in competitions and exams.

As a teacher, Brett has had students who regularly achieve excellent results in competitions and exams. Brett teaches all styles of guitar and all levels of student; ranging from complete beginners who wanted to learn a few pop songs, all the way to advanced students preparing for international competitions, as well as being experienced in teaching pop and rock guitar to young and older beginners.
