She attended the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and achieved her Associate Diploma (AmusA) on violin at age 14, learning with Elizabeth Sellars and Fintan Murphy. For her senior high-school years, she won a music scholarship for the duration of her schooling at Ivanhoe Girl’s Grammar School in Melbourne.
Jessica played with the Melbourne String Ensemble for seven years, including as soloist in their 2018 Germany-Switzerland tour, and she has been regularly performing with the nationally acclaimed Australian Youth Orchestra since age 14. Jessica is currently studying under Goetz Richter at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, having been awarded the Sydney Scholars Award scholarship for the duration of her study.
Jessica enjoys playing violin and viola in chamber music and orchestra, and is enthusiastic about teaching her students about how much fun it is to play music with other people as well as excelling in a solo setting.
