Lia Li

Piano Teacher

Lia Li graduated from M.V.Lysenko KSSMBS in 2013 and achieved her bachelor's degree from P.I.Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in 2017 with a full scholarship and her master's degree from Sydney Conservatorium of Music with the Rob Hatherley scholarship. She is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, and English. 

 

Lia has participated in many international and regional competitions with outstanding results. She won the first prize in the Italian International Piano Competition (Lonigo 2010), award in the Chopin International Piano Competition in Estonia(2010), the first prize in the Portuguese International Competition (Maderia 2015), the first prize Lithuanian International Piano Competition (Kaunas 2015), the first prize in both solo and solo with orchestra in the Lithuanian International Music Competition "21-century art" (Klaipeda 2016). She has performed in many cities in Ukraine and held solo concerts in Shanxi Taiyuan in 2014 and Shanxi Xi An in 2015.

Lia is very passionate about her teaching career. She has been working as a piano teacher with mixed age groups from 3.5 years old to adults. She identifies her students' requirements according to their ambitions in regards to AMEB and HSC exams as well as those who wish to keep music as a hobby. Her extensive knowledge of AMEB has guided her students to gain remarkable achievements and recognizations from professional examiners.
