Eugenie Tamplon was born in Russia where she began her music and piano education at the age of six. She continued her piano studies in Germany under the guidance of Prof. Peter von Wienhardt at the Conservatory of Münster and completed her education with a Bachelor of Music (performance) and a Master of Music (education).
Eugenie received further musical impulses from renowned pedagogues and musicians like Prof. Gregor Weichert, Prof. Ilya Scheps, Dr. Fritz Butzbach, composer Ulrich Schultheiss and has been awarded first and second prizes at the “Jugend musiziert” competition in Germany.
Eugenie moved to Sydney in 2010 where she has been working as a pianist, accompanist and teacher. She has performed publicly as a soloist as well as a member of a two-piano-duo and worked with flutists, violinists and singers. She coaches singers in German, Russian and French. Although classical training was predominant in her education Eugenie has a passion for musical theatre, cabaret and contemporary popular genres. She has also conducted a number of professional developments for young teachers lecturing on didactics, technique, memory, performance practice and others.
She is happy to share her love for music with anyone who aspires to learn the piano whether it is on a professional level or for leisure.
