Atlee Daniel

Violin/Viola Teacher

Atlee Daniel is a violist and violinist originally from Fort Worth, Texas, with a strong background in classical music performance. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance with a minor in Arts Administration from Oberlin College and Conservatory, and a Master of Music in Viola Performance from the Royal College of Music in London.

 

During her time at Oberlin, Atlee performed as a soloist with the Northeast Orchestra, showcasing the Stamitz Viola Concerto, and also played as a substitute with the Mansfield Philharmonic. Her training in world-renowned institutions and experience across both solo and orchestral stages have shaped her into a dynamic and expressive performer.​

 

Atlee’s teaching career is as vibrant as her performing life. Her most recent role took her to the Cayman Islands, where she managed a full studio of over 65 students per week, building strong relationships with families and nurturing musical growth at all levels.

 

She brings a warm, organised, and student-centred approach to her lessons, drawing on her diverse background to tailor her teaching to each learner’s goals. Whether working with young beginners or advanced students, Atlee focuses on developing musical confidence, solid technique, and a lifelong love for music.
